Our Reality
Our blog includes some of the reflections by a talented writer that creates content under the name Olga Lifeisgood. She has been very kind in allowing us to publish some of her most intimate reflections on consciousness and the nature of life.
The outside world is just an interpretation that is based on the inner self that humanity has collected.
Our inner self is a collection of experiences and adaptations; it is so intricate and complex. Without understanding it it’s truly impossible to tell objectively what is happening on the outside.
What has been collected from the past experiences can keep us imprisoned, bound to always see the world from that clouded lens. It’s not so intuitive that what we think is not truly our thoughts, but it’s the voice of trauma, past injustices and disconnection.
To make it right, we have to go deep within and bring the past to justice. What has been hidden and forgotten might benefit from the honest look and reconciliation. It then can merge into the light and make presence a little bit lighter with each review.
It takes real courage to look at the past objectively, as an observer, and try not to take sides. It’s something anyone can benefit from, but may not be available immediately. Sometimes the truth can be discovered by layers. The main obstacle to it is our shadow. It can hide major details and skew our perspective. It is though not a villain. It is that relationship with shadow that matters the most when we want to consider our inner reality. To become friends with a shadow means that we can listen to the hidden part of self that has been in exile. It has a lot to say. It is up to us whether we can allow this to happen or we can choose to run away and pretend that it’s not there. Which one would you choose?
